Halyard H600 Masks were created by the University of Florida anesthesiology department and professor of anesthesiology Dr. Bruce Spiess to combat the shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE). Speiss discovered Halyard H600 surgical wrap traditionally used for sterilizing surgical instruments has a BFE (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency) of 99.9%, the highest rating available. N95 respirators have a 95% BFE.

Halyard H600 wrap is a double layer patent protected polypropylene. Masks are made with 4 head ties and a pliable nose wire. They are perfect for front line workers, health care professionals, aid workers, community volunteers, VA's and anyone who faces increased covid threats without consistent access to PPE. This mask has passed multiple respirator fit tests that analyze face seal and meet certain criteria to earn recommended use by medical professionals.
